Where are you from originally?
I was born and raised in Connecticut.
Do you have any personal goals for 2016?
My personal goal is to grow my business to a point where it runs very smoothly without me being present for a few weeks at a time. And to gain a few real estate investments.
If we were sitting here a year from today celebrating the great year that your company has had, what did you accomplish?
$2.4 million in gross sales. A new tech manager and one additional tech. The whole team being happy and excited about our growth.
If you could invite 3 people to your dinner party, who would you invite? (dead or alive)
Honestly, my wife and 2 kids. However if they were excluded it would be Einstein, Buddha and maybe Neil Young….some iconic musician.
Who is your role model and why?
My grandfather. He worked hard, had fun and always spoke the truth.
Describe your ideal day in Portland.
Wake up at 8:30 (sleep in), coffee and listen to some music at home with my lady. Out to brunch (Eggs Benedict from a nice cafe). Stop by Umpqua to deposit some checks and say hi to Reece. Take a walk with some friends and the dog. Nice dinner out, maybe see some live music. Wow…this is not too exciting, but I love it.
Tell us about an accomplishment that you consider to be the most significant in your career.
I’m in the midst of it. I grew a company from me in a pickup truck to over a $1.4 million last year and looking to add another million this year. I’m super proud of this.
Who was your childhood hero?
My dad. Raised 2 kids as a single parent, worked his ass off, always made sure we knew we were worth it.
What was the first concert you attended? What was the last?
My first concert was an outdoor blues festival where BB King played (Stevie Ray Vaughn was supposed to be there but died in a plane crash a few weeks before). Last show I saw was….I think MGMT with my daughter.
What are you looking forward to most as a member of EO Portland?
I’d love to make some good friends and make some connections that will help support my growth as a business owner and personally.
