Where are you from originally?
The Chicagoland area, and then spent some time on the East Coast and California before landing in Portland in 2004.
Do you have any personal goals for 2016?
I would like to set up the right people and systems at work that would allow me to work on more personal artistic projects.
If you could invite 3 people to your dinner party, who would you invite? (dead or alive)
Larry, Moe, and Curly. The menu would have nothing but pies.
Who is your role model and why?
My mom, Marianne Wakerlin founded Solmate Socks 16 years ago and grew it into a responsible, ethical, and creative company. Her creativity and endless energy are inspiring.
Describe your ideal day in Portland.
It would probably involve a bike, my wife, and a pub theater.
What are you looking forward to most as a member of EO Portland?
In the few experiences I’ve already had with EO I always walk away my head full of ideas and wind in my sails. It seems like there are an infinite number of ways to organize and structure a successful business, and I look forward to learning about ways to implement positive change in my companies using information gathered at the events and through a forum.
