Welcome to EO Women — It Starts With You!

Did you know EO has a global circle of women who understand the entrepreneurial journey, and offer each other mentorship, networking, and tailored resources to address the unique challenges women face as business leaders?

EO Women (formerly "Women of EO") is for EO Members who lead with ambition, empathy, and impact.

Led by EO Members Makena Finger Zannini and Michelle Cairo, this social event a casual gathering with discussion about what an EO Women group could look like in our chapter: what we can do to empower and support each other as EO Portland women.

We use an inclusive definition of “women.” All who identify as women, including cisgender and transgender women, as well as nonbinary individuals who feel this space supports them, are warmly welcome.

Closing the Remarkability Gap: A Workshop for Finding Your Blue Ocean

EO Members, EOA, and SAPs
Wednesday, April 8, 2026, 12:00p - 2:00p
Pacific West Bank
1300 Southwest 5th Avenue - 3rd Floor

You've heard of Blue Ocean Strategy. Maybe you've even read the book.

The concept is clear: stop competing in the red ocean of sameness and find the market space where growth comes to you. Blue Ocean Strategy gives you the destination. This workshop gives you the map.

Here's what most businesses miss: a crowded, commoditized market can be a great opportunity for those businesses that have something truly remarkable to offer and make that compelling to the right customers. They move into the Blue Ocean.

In this workshop, we'll guide you step by step through diagnosing where your real opportunity lies, how to seize it, and what it takes to permanently shift into blue ocean territory. You won't leave with a transformed business but you'll leave with an executable framework and a fundamentally different way to think about your own company.
