EO Dine Around the Table
For EO Members & Forum-Trained Plus-Ones
Sunday, May 18, 6p-9p
Multiple Homes Around Portland, Locations Assigned in Advance
A Surprise Dinner Party with Time Built In for 5% Conversation
Because we're going 5%, only EO Members and Forum-trained Spouses/Life Partners are invited to sign up for an intimate dinner at an EO Member's home in the Portland area on Sunday, May 18.
This year, we're getting more creative & more personal.
Each home will feature a coursed meal lovingly prepared by an EO Member.
When you register, you will pick your top three preferences (check out the menus here!), but everything else will remain a surprise: you won't find out the host or other guests till you arrive!
Each dinner will feature a directed 5% conversation — you'll get instructions on your dinner topic in advance. Get ready for meaningful connections with other EO Members!
What to Bring:
A bottle of your favorite wine to share
Your vulnerability! Get ready for a deep conversation over great food.
While the menus are unique, every location will feature:
1. Cocktail Hour + a Get-to-Know-You Opener
2. Dinner + Deep Dive Topical Discussion
3. Dessert + Social Time
Extra Serious No-Show Policy
It takes a lot of time and effort to host and cook a meal for others. Additionally, this even only works when there's a full table. If you register, you are committing to attending this event barring real emergencies. Those who no-show or don't cancel within 7 days before this event will be fined $100 and asked to apologize to their host.

Growth Strategies That Make You Stand Out
Friday, May 23, 12p - 2p
Kinesis
2636 NE Sandy Blvd. Suite H
Together, we'll workshop your business's growth strategy in a small group—this workshop is capped at just 7 business owners for high impact!
For many businesses, the main approach to growth is more marketing and/or more sales. The problem? These strategies fall flat when there is nothing remarkable to talk about. Being better, faster, or cheaper than the competition is not a winning proposition — especially as channels get more crowded and it's hard to stand out.
In this game, businesses end up trapped in an endless cycle of marginal gains, fighting for inches in an increasingly crowded marketplace. But what if you stood out from the competition because you have created something unique in your market or category?
In this Lunch and Learn, we'll focus on remarkability and creation as the drivers for growth. We'll explore ways to come up with a strategic positioning that takes into account internal capacities and the external realities that impact your business.
