About Our Cohorts

You don’t have to face your business challenges alone. EO Ignitor (EOI) empowers entrepreneurs with the connections, education, and experiences they need to rapidly grow their businesses — and supports them in becoming a better leaders along the way.

EOI is a cohort-based program for business owners with the desire, vision, and drive to grow their businesses to $250K in annual revenue and beyond. EOI provides monthly mentorship and peer support with foundational guidance for scaling your business.

As an eo ignitor participant, you will:

• Attend a confidential monthly 4-hour cohort meeting facilitated by an experienced mentor, where you’ll share your “stucks and wins,” participate in breakout sessions, network with others, and enjoy a social lunch hour.

• Attend at least 1 professionally facilitated learning event per year, alongside fellow entrepreneurs in the Portland community.

• Use events to build relationships with peers who have been in your shoes and are happy to share their experiences with you. This is the magic of a real social network.

• Once you have scaled your business past $100K in annual revenue, you will attend 2 all-day workshops per year (in September and December) with our EO Accelerator entrepreneurs.
  
  

The EO Adventure

EO Ignitor is a great way to get a taste of what EO has to offer and prepare yourself for the next level of entrepreneurship.

EO Portland is part of the global EO organization of 18,000+ entrepreneurs, with 213 chapters across 60+ countries. By joining EO Ignitor, you will be part of a community of contributors who show up for each other and drive the world forward. EO Portland is a 501(c)3 Oregon nonprofit with the mission of helping entrepreneurs achieve their true potential.

Our membership levels are organized by business revenue simply because the challenges you’ll face as your business grows will change with scale. Each membership has its own tailored peer groups to help address those challenges.

Ignitor member qualifications:

Membership is determined by application to ensure this program will support your goals and business type. We currently have two cohorts: the Service-based Business Cohort and the Products-based Business Cohort.

• Membership is limited to those that are the founder, co-founder, owner, or controlling shareholder of their company

• Members must be “all in” on their business—deriving at least 90% of their living expenses from it—to participate in EOI. We are not accepting applicants who have full-time employment alongside a side business at this time.

• Members must express their vision to grow their business to over $250K annually.

Member COMMITMENt:

• Full participation is expected in your monthly cohort meeting. Members are allowed up to 2 absences per year, but the goal is 100% attendance to maintain group continuity and impact.

• Members commit to attending one annual learning event with the intent of meeting like-minded and goal-oriented entrepreneurs while acquiring great skills & ideas.

• Upon acceptance into the Ignitor program, members will sign an agreement of commitment and acceptance of the rules of conduct, which include a strict non-solicitation policy. (Members are here to support, learn, and share knowledge, but not solicit each other for sales.)
