>How's life going?
On the personal side, our oldest son is graduating and heading off to college. We are embarking on a new stage in our parenting (we still have two more boys at home), which is both exciting and frightening all at once! We are a close family so it will be hard to see him off, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. The next six months will be a whirlwind of college visits, graduation, sports, celebrations, and some joyful tears.
>How do you unwind at the end of a long day?
Sitting by the fire with my wife and drinking a Manhattan while listening to music and watching the sunset.
>Your favorite EO moment so far?
So many good memories and friends to choose from. There is one that often comes to mind and that was getting lost in Macao while at the global conference and having an adventure with Justin Riordan finding our way back to the hotel. We decided to go for a short hike (neither of us slept well and it was early morning). It was supposed to only be a 30-60 minute walk up the hills nearby, "the highest point of Taipa,” to check out the view. Well, we just kept walking and talking. We found our way to the other side of the “mountain” and on a hillside cemetery overlooking the water. I can’t remember if we ended up waiving a taxi down or if we were lucky enough to have reception and get an Uber, but it turned into a half-day adventure and a began a great friendship.
